If your denture has cracked, snapped or a tooth has come away, you can contact us at Swindon Denture Clinic to have it assessed for repair. Call 01793 569130 or use our denture repair enquiry form. Tell us what has broken and we will explain the arrangements before you come in.

A break can leave you wondering how you will manage a meal, work or plans for the day. You don’t have to know whether it can be repaired before contacting us. That is something we need to assess.

What has broken?

Tell us whether a tooth has come away, the base has cracked or the denture has broken into separate pieces. Mention whether you have the pieces and if the same part has broken before.

If it was already loose or uncomfortable before the break, say so. The damage and the fit both matter when deciding what to do next.

Keep the pieces and avoid a home repair

Keep the denture and any loose pieces together in a protective container and bring them to the assessment. Avoid forcing the parts back together or using household glue. Trying to repair it yourself can make it harder to assess and repair properly.

If you are unsure what to bring, ask when you call. We would rather you checked than discarded a piece that might be useful.

Can every denture be repaired?

No. It depends on the damage, the material and the condition of the denture. A repair may be suitable, but if the denture is worn or repeatedly breaking, Matthew may need to discuss another option.

We will explain what is possible and the cost before work goes ahead. Availability and turnaround also need to be confirmed for your particular repair; this article is not a promise of a same-day service.
